Definition : Rope access worker

 

 

Rope access worker : The rope access worker is a multi-task technician who has received extensive training in building, aerial works and securing of height interventions. The rope access worker is also called a construction climber or acrobat. Rope access works fit well in the industry and public works sector, as well as in the entertainment realm. The rope access worker intervenes for example on sites such as : window-cleaning, facade scaling and masonry, sheet metal work, installation of anti-bird protection systems, silo cleaning, framed structures, installation of commercial banners, and hanging of sound and light systems.
