Glossary for acrobatic works and rope access works
Definition : Metalworking
Metalworking : metallic framework, cladding and roofing, building hardware. Today, metallic construction refers to small building hardware to large floor bridges or building frameworks, but also to industrial or farming depots, commercial buildings, offices… There are numerous occupations related to metalworking: consulting technicians or engineers (who work on industrial designs, estimations of the materials and structures strength, nomenclatures…), production plants and site assembling trades.
